About
What apilong is, how it is funded, and how to reach us.
What apilong is
apilong is an independent comparison platform for developer-facing APIs. We measure what actually matters when you pick a provider — published pricing, endpoint latency, availability and usage signals — and publish the results as open, machine-readable feeds. The site is built for two audiences at once: human developers comparing providers before they commit, and AI agents that need structured, up-to-date answers instead of scraped marketing pages.
Where our data comes from
Every number on this site comes from automated daily snapshots of public, official
sources — a provider's own API responses or its public pricing pages. Nothing is typed
in by hand and nothing is estimated: each row in prices.json
carries its capture timestamp (captured_at) and the exact source URL
(source), so any figure can be traced back to where it came from. Because
snapshots are taken every day, the data is also backtestable — see
Methodology for the formulas and
llms.txt for the feed index.
Disclosure: referral links
Some outbound links on this site are referral links. If you sign up through one of them, apilong may earn a commission. This never affects the measurements or rankings: rankings are computed mechanically from the public feeds before any commercial consideration, and no provider can pay to change a score, a rank or a recommendation.
No ads, no investment advice
apilong does not sell advertising or paid placements. Content on this site is provided for information and comparison only; it is not financial or investment advice. Prices change frequently — always verify current terms with the provider before purchasing.
